Mandriva Free 2006 x86_64 on HP nx6125 (AMD Turion 64) : In progress

I used the Mandriva 2006 free x86_64 mini-cd
Only one problem during the installation : the driver for the video card (Radeon Xpress 200M) was not choosen. So i chose the fglrx driver included in the distribution.

After the installation, i have installed :

acpid
klaptop (another graphical tool should exist for gnome)
cpufreq
powernowd

and done all the updates so for instance kernel is 2.6.12-17

The problem was the computer doesn't want to halt correctly so I tried to add : "reboot=b" (b for bios) in the append options of /etc/lilo.conf
This way, the system need manual poweroff.
So i try "reboot=h" (reinitialisation of the processor)

Here is an extract of my /etc/lilo.conf

For the first, be sure your fan are working properly. A possible workaround is to cron : 'acpi -t'
For the second, you can boot with the parameter : 'noapictimer'
